Course Description:

This course will describe the stages of DMD and the role of physical therapy across the life span. What
are the expectations and needs across the life span of an individual that has DMD. We will cover the role
of physical therapy at each stage of this disease. The common outcome measures utilized in this
population across the life span will be introduced as objective ways to document the disease progression
and predict the needs of your patient.
