Course Description:

The Clinical Management of the Injured Worker course will instruct the learner in the customers/stakeholders that exist for a worker’s compensation patient, important differences and similarities with the injured worker and a typical orthopedic patient, important points to consider in the subjective and objective exam pertinent to the injured worker, and how to formulate a robust assessment and plan for the injured worker. The learner will also discover, through a case study scenario, how to identify flags or concerns with the injured worker and provide points to consider with ideas for managing a more complex injured worker.
