Course Description:

This two-part lecture discusses the evolution of a physical therapy diagnostic process for low back pain, highlighting the current update to the treatment-based classification model and APTA Clinical Practice Guidelines. It presents a systematic approach that takes into account patient characteristics, patho-anatomical concepts, psychosocial considerations and the results of both subjective interview and physical examination to drive a treatment plan that is specific to each patient.
