Course Description:

This course is geared towards therapists treating pediatric patients after suffering from the sequelae of COVID-19. The number of pediatric patients seen after developing COVID-19 continues to grow and the knowledge of how to effectively manage these patients is critical to their success and safety. The pediatric population suffering from these effects require modification and adaptation to their plan of care to include safety measures such as monitoring and understanding of normative vital signs. Knowledge of atypical side effects, including Multisystem Inflammatory Disease, will be discussed and therapists will be made aware of common signs and symptoms in these severe complications.
