Course Description:

This evidence based online course is designed to enhance the physical therapists’ ability to appropriately evaluate and design effective therapeutic interventions for several common vestibular disorders. This course will allow the learner to maximize their ability to differentially diagnose the patient with complaints of dizziness leading to effective outcomes. BPPV and unilateral vestibular hypofunction will be major diagnoses covered as well as how to assess and manage visual vertigo and balance and gait deficits due to the vestibular system. Supplementary videos will be utilized to provide demonstrations to testing and treatment techniques.
