Course Description:

This seminar provides information about the therapist’s evaluation, treatment and clinical reasoning for patients following flexor tendon repair. An overview of three categories of treatment focusing on tendon zones 2-3 is provided. Clinical reasoning is emphasized related to choosing an effective program given the patient’s presentation and anatomical features in the zone of injury. Identification and management of complications that occur during the course of treatment with emphasis on both prevention and treatment are highlighted.
