Course Description:

This courses uses a case based approach for the application of MFD (Myofascial Decompression) to the shoulder complex. Through the demonstration of movement analysis and palpation, we will determine the specific location of fascial restrictions that would benefit from MFD. We will discuss the clinical reasoning for application, dosing of negative pressure utilized, number of cups, and time of treatment when utilizing this intervention. In applying these techniques, we will demonstrate how using cups along with dynamic movement can improve myofascial restrictions, decrease pain, and improve motion.
