Course Description:

This webinar is designed to present to the clinician the most recent and state of the art information in the treatment of the female patient with ACL injuries. This course will discuss the most current evidence describing the incidence and mechanisms of ACL injuries in female athletes. Further, we will describe treatment interventions to reduce the incidence of ACL injuries and the most current information on various surgery interventions. In addition, we will integrate the evidence based medicine information and formulate an appropriate & well designed rehabilitation program following injury &/or surgery. Lastly, we will discuss outcomes following ACL surgeries in female athletes and discuss in an open format several case studies.
