Course Description:

This course will provide information on hip labral diagnosis as well as post-operative complications and rehabilitations. The discussion will review different repair types as well as supporting structured uses in the case of reconstructions. There will be discussions around complications, weight-bearing (WB) post operatively, bracing and physical therapy precautions. The discussion will then shift to labral repair rehabilitation and post-operative care. The therapy discussion will include WB restriction and duration, what brace is used, as well as post-operative care based on research. The focus will then shift to a therapist discussion on current research for optimal return to function.
