Course Description:

Degenerative disease poses a myriad of changes to the function of the body, including in bowel and bladder continence. This educational session will discuss the ramifications of degenerative conditions on the function of the urogenital system, and how we as therapists can address these changes to improve a patients’ quality of life. We will specifically examine interventions for Parkinson’s disease, parkinsonisms, multiple sclerosis, and Huntington disease. Advanced knowledge or expertise in pelvic health is not necessary to participate.
