Course Description:

This course is designed to give the provider of work conditioning a greater depth of knowledge for the evaluation and development of a program as well as to provide additional treatment tools for job specific, customized program development in order to achieve the highest functional outcome levels. There will be a focus on the re-assessment of a patient’s objective changes and then discussions on how to progress the patient’s program using appropriate clinical rationale and evidence based treatment approaches including the biopsychosocial treatments if appropriate. Information and tools will be provided for specific industries whose employees may commonly need work conditioning including: First Responders, Baggage handlers, Healthcare workers, and Warehouse/Distribution workers. Time will be spent developing job simulation circuits that are market specific.
