Course Description:
This course discusses the history, development, and structure of the modified Rankin Scale (mRS). It offers comparison to other functional outcome scales used in research for stroke and head injury outcomes and discusses the pros and cons to using these scales. Instructions on how to obtain the score from the modified Rankin Scale are provided, along with tips to scoring a patient correctly.
