Course Description:

Low back pain is a common musculoskeletal impairment among older adults. Despite the high prevalence, evidence for effective management of frail older adults with co-morbidities and low back pain is limited. This module guides physical therapy professionals through a case study of a frail older adult with low back pain. Key considerations for the evaluation, identification of red flags, and evidence-based guidelines for treatment are discussed.
