Course Description:

This course provides physical and occupational therapy professionals with an understanding of the most important footwear features to accommodate common foot impairments in older adults. How to choose the appropriate footwear based on clinical presentation are described. Learners will be able to recognize which patients may benefit from off-the-shelf vs. custom orthotics.
