Course Description:
Neuroplasticity is the basis for many physical and occupational therapy interventions after damage or impairment to the CNS. Through adequate training and challenge, therapists can facilitate the return of motor function. This module describes the process of neuroplasticity as it relates to the recovery of gross motor function. Through clinical examples, therapists will gain an understanding of specific interventions and dosing guidelines to maximize functional outcomes for their patients.
