Course Description:

Tobacco use has a significant impact on the recovery outcomes and overall health of patients. All healthcare team members have a role in educating patients about the associated health risks and supporting cessation. Rehabilitation professionals are key players in helping patients understand the physical and psychological impact of tobacco use and suggesting methods for cessation. This course provides rehabilitation professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to address tobacco use with their patients.
