Course Description:

Chronic pain is one of the most challenging and pervasive health conditions worldwide, with profound implications for not only the individuals who experience it, but also for their families, healthcare providers, and society at large. It is not just a physical sensation but an experience that shapes a person’s emotional well-being, social interactions, and identity. This course offers and in-depth exploration of chronic pain. Participations will be able to describe the multiple contributing factors to chronic pain and identify the treatment philosophy required in chronic pain. Multiple recent studies that evaluate chronic pain will also be discussed.
