Course Description:

Patient care can involve complexities of trauma. This is a two-part master class series exploring the complicated relationship with trauma, pain, and rehabilitative treatment. In the first part of the series, we will explore the role of trauma in terms of association within pain manifestation and presentation in the biopsychosocial approach. The second part of the series will examine how rehabilitation professionals protect their own wellbeing when navigating and caring for patients with trauma and medical complexity.
