Course Description:
Participants will learn the basics of utilizing repeated movements to evaluate and treat patients who demonstrate a directional preference for their low back pain. This course will review current evidence supporting the use of directional preference for patients with low back pain, subjective questions that may be particularly relevant to directional preference assessment, objective information that may suggest that repeated motions testing would be relevant, and how to perform repeated movements testing. Participants will also learn how to utilize their testing to determine a directional preference, how to progress forces within that directional preference, and tips on how to continue with treatment for someone who demonstrates a directional preference.
