Course Description:

Dry needling can be an effective part of a comprehensive treatment plan. This dry needling curriculum will prepare a clinician for the safe delivery of dry needling interventions to muscles over the lung field. The course will include a review of anatomy, palpation landmarks, needle safety considerations, and pneumothorax risk reduction. The modules combine videos of the appropriate techniques, didactic training regarding considerations of the lung field, and alignment with Select Medical's standards. At the conclusion of this online training, the clinician will perform an in-person competency examination to determine their ability to safely and effectively deliver dry needling to the muscles over the lung field.
