Course Description:

This course was designed to highlight the changes to the female body during both pregnancy and labor and the influence that it has with return to activity, fitness and athleticism post-partum. It will review the phases that have been described and recommended for return to fitness in the post-partum period and discuss specific sports difference. It will review interventions based on impairments that are commonly present, as well as discuss two case studies to further develop your clinical reasoning within this population.
