Course Description:
Understanding the peripheral neural anatomy of the body can be daunting for all clinicians and is one area that brings simultaneous feelings of dread or curiosity. Likewise, neural tension tests and neurodynamic mobilization treatments can often be difficult to understand, process, and implement into clinical practice. Participants will be guided through clinically meaningful methods of neurodynamic testing and various neurodynamic treatment ideas to improve functional mobility for patients with chronic back pain. This session will conclude with discussion of a case study to demonstrate the importance of test, treat, and retest concepts using the assessment and treatment techniques covered in this session.
