Course Objectives: 
Participants will: 

1.   Be able to define compassionate care and gain an understanding of the role compassionate care plays in patient outcomes/patient satisfaction.
2.   Gain an understanding on if compassionate care can be taught and identify ways to implement compassionate care in their practice.
3. Be provided with resources to prevent compassion fatigue.
