Course Description:

A Manual Therapy Approach To Management of Cervical Spine Disorders.


This course will include a combination of lecture and lab material, which will cover a number of topics related to the management of cervical spine disorders. Brett Huffman will be the instructor, who has 17 years of clinical experience and is a Fellow of the Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. The topics will include the following: Epidemiology, Subjective Questions, Screening procedures for non-musculoskeletal and musculoskeletal disorders, Cervical Diagnoses, Quiz questions to ensure understanding, Manual Therapy emphasis on treatment for neck dysfunction, Neurodynamics, and Exercise prescription. Participants should feel confident in understanding the impact of neck pain on the general population, diagnosing , and treating cervical spine disorders.
