Course Description:

This course will specifically highlight the relevancy and importance of considering regional interdependence and activity observation/analysis during the evaluation and treatment of golfers with elbow injury and/or or pain. In order to develop an optimal client centered approach, participants will be educated on the creation and application of a golfer’s Occupational Profile; augmenting their understanding of the multitude of factors impacting a golfer’s participation and performance. A case example will be used to highlight the impact of this comprehensive evaluation process. By increasing the awareness and understanding of biomechanics, kinetics/kinematics, and proximal movement screening, participants will also gain identifying needs for interprofessional collaboration and/or referral to different providers.
