In this In-Service, participants will:

1. Be able to define psychosocial OT and its benefits to medically hospitalized inpatients

2. Be able to identify at least 3 psychosocial self-modifications to engage patients that are resistive, agitated or performing at a lower functional status

3. Be able to list evidence-based ways to use therapeutic use of self in practice

4. Be able to list techniques to de-escalate agitated patients
