Course Description:

This course provides occupational therapists and physical therapists who specialize as certified hand therapists with comprehensive education on the phases of care for individuals with upper limb loss, partial hand amputations, and limb differences. Participants will gain insight into the latest advancements in upper limb and partial hand prosthetic technologies, along with the ability to identify appropriate candidates for various devices. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of functional training to optimize patient outcomes and enhance quality of life.
