Course Description:
This is the two-day (14 hour) course that has been presented worldwide. This evidence-based, comprehensive program designed to address the pertinent topic areas in the field of prosthetics and amputee rehabilitation. This multimedia presentation includes demonstrations with prosthetic users of all ages and functional capabilities. Attendees will view similar situations encountered in their clinics and observe innovative strategies that promote enhanced performance to overcome common physical limitations. The dynamics and thought-provoking presentation allow physical therapists and prosthetists to interact and develop a fresh understanding of how every discipline involved in prosthetic rehabilitation, working together as a team, can generate a more satisfactory outcome for the amputee. Participants will receive course materials.
