Course Description:
Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a rare but potentially life-threatening neurological disorder characterized by rapid-onset muscle weakness and paralysis. While the acute medical management of Guillain-Barré Syndrome is well understood, there remains a significant gap in the timely and appropriate integration of rehabilitation services throughout the course of the disease. This course will aim to enhance the understanding of GBS for rehabilitation professionals, providing insights into its pathophysiology, prognosis, and affective rehabilitation techniques across different phases of recovery.
