Course Description:

Team Training is an interactive 3-day in person training to educate interprofessional team members on best practices for Parkinson’s care, maximize team communication and collaboration, gain a better understanding of the roles of different team members and how they can collectively provide better patient outcomes. Team Training offers a dynamic opportunity to network and learn with healthcare professionals from around the country who are currently working with people with Parkinson’s in a health care setting. Interactive panels, team breakouts with case studies, and discipline-specific breakouts provide opportunities for team practice and learning integration. Each person (and team) will create a tailored plan that can be implemented immediately upon their return. You are not required to attend with a team for either program; however, the most impactful experience happens when attending with additional team members.
