Course Description:
Advanced Team Training is a 2-day, on-site program designed by the Parkinson's Foundation to assist health professionals and teams in increasing knowledge with management strategies, updates on clinical research, emerging therapeutics and genetic insight in the clinical management of newly diagnosed, early Parkinson’s disease and young-onset Parkinson’s disease to improve patient outcomes.
The goal of this program is to provide a deeper focus on the management of newly diagnosed Parkinson’s, addressing rehabilitative strategies and the psychosocial challenges when patients first receive a Parkinson’s diagnosis.
We expect this to be a highly informative training experience. You will have opportunities for interactive learning with other disciplines and a chance to gain practical applied knowledge both in the assessment and treatment of Parkinson's disease and in team development strategies.
Trainees are responsible for their own travel, transportation, hotel arrangements, and non-conference food. (See the Venue tab for hotel link and travel information.)
