Course Description:

This course will discuss principles of clinical reasoning in the context of the mentoring relationship. Differences in mentorship for professional and post-professional students will be discussed. Diagnostic reasoning, narrative reasoning, the use of the Hypotheses Categories and clinical reasoning errors in mentorship will be highlighted. Finally, cases will be used to illustrate methods to promote clinical reasoning in professional and post-professional students.
