Course Description:

The Ischemic Stroke-Inpatient online class reviews in-hospital assessment and treatment of the patient with acute ischemic stroke. Patient care is presented chronologically, from hospital day one through day five, (admission to disposition), presenting best practice guidelines. The Hemorrhagic Stroke-Inpatient online class class reviews In-Hospital treatment of the patient with acute hemorrhagic stroke, including intracerebral and subarachnoid hemorrhages. Patient care is presented based on etiology of hemorrhage and complications that may arise. Medical and surgical care is also presented using best practice guidelines.
