Course Description:

Scars can often be symptomatic and contribute to limited range of motion, pain, discomfort, tightness, and nerve-associated sensations at the site of the scar as well as in the tissues surrounding a scar. ScarWork is a gentle and effective manual therapy that can be seamlessly incorporated into patient sessions to resolve symptomatic scar tissue. The in-person course offers hands-on learning and application of ScarWork techniques to ensure practitioners leave the course with skills to implement immediately into their practice. This course is appropriate for hands-on healthcare providers working with patients who have surgical and/or naturally occurring scars, regardless of the age of the scar. The course content can be presented in a 3-day or 4-day format.
