Course Description:

Each student will leave with a starter kit of dry needling supplies.
Join the many Health Care Professionals providing Dry Needling in their clinics who rave about improved patient outcomes, new markets for patients, and waiting lists!
This course is designed to meet state requirements for dry needling training. This Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Dry Needling Course will prepare DCs, PTs, and other health care professionals to utilize the Dry Needling technique in clinic. Completion of Level 1, or the equivalent, is required before taking Level 2.
Students should dress for comfort in loose clothing. This is a hands-on lab course including needling practice.
Dry Needling Level 1 - Provides the training required for administering Dry Needling in your clinic right away.
Providers will learn how to safely and effectively dry needle both superficial and deep structures. To best prepare you for implementation of this practice, clinical application and indication of when and where dry needling would be warranted is central in these courses. This course includes the education and demonstration of dry needling myofascial adhesions/trigger points, superficial scar tissue adhesions, tendons, ligaments, and musculotendinous junctions . Students should dress for comfort in loose clothing to allow for needling practice.
The provider will learn evidence-based guidelines for the use of dry needling pertaining to trigger points/myofascial adhesions, as well as central and peripheral hypoalgesia neurophysiologic effects.
