Course Description:
Course Description: This course will provide a gender inclusive overview of how pelvic floor function and dysfunction may influence the treatment and evaluation of patients in the orthopedic population. The clinicians will learn how to incorporate the core and pelvic floor muscles into existing orthopedic treatment programs. Evidence that orthopedic clinicians need further training in pelvic floor function

1. Describe Maigne’s syndrome and its symptoms
2. Identify 3 main pain patterns of Maigne’s syndrome
3. Identify four clinical test required to r/o Maigne’s syndrome
4. List 3 reasons Maigne’s syndrome is often dx as Hip pain
5. List 3 spinal column treatment used to treat Maigne’s syndrome
