Course Description:

This course is designed for physical therapists and occupational therapists interested in improving their understanding and treatment of vestibular conditions, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), unilateral vestibular hypofunction, Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness, and vestibular migraine. Participants will receive education on the common bedside exam findings associated with these conditions, as well as evidence-based treatment techniques used to treat these pathologies. The findings on the recommended outcomes measures will also be included. Several of the case studies will highlight the fact that vestibular disorders often co-occur in patients presenting to clinics with complaints of dizziness and/or imbalance.
