Course Description:

This course is designed for physical therapists and occupational therapists who work with patients after breast cancer surgery with a specific emphasis on breast reconstruction. Participants will learn about the different surgical techniques and the impact on a patient’s symptoms and function. This presentation will include lecture, literature review, and case studies to present best practice standards for rehabilitation intervention post-surgically with this specialized patient population.
