Course Description:

This course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to individuals who may be victims of human trafficking. Participants will learn to recognize red flags commonly observed in clinical environments, explore effective and sensitive communication strategies with trafficked persons and survivors, and understand the long-term impact of trafficking-related trauma on recovery and rehabilitation. The course also introduces the core principles of a trauma-informed approach, empowering providers to offer compassionate, respectful, and appropriate care.
