Course Description:

This course will provide relevant updates on contemporary issues impacting the practice of Physical Therapy. Participants will learn about non-surgical interventions in orthopedic care and the latest trends in complaints issued to the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy. PTA students will present posters on evidence informed practice concepts for multiple contemporary PT areas. Breakout sessions will provide contemporary learning opportunities in orthopedic testing, Sensory Integration therapy, robotic surgery, and the role of Physical Therapy in wellness and prevention across the adult life span.
