Course Description:

The Synthesis: CIMT Certification Course is designed to create the ideal road map towards becoming a great manual therapist. This course will train therapists to assess and treat dysfunction from a whole-body perspective by “connecting the dots” from where symptoms are appearing to where the driver of pain is actually located, using an eclectic manual therapy approach. During this 3-day course, registrants will learn new advanced manual therapy techniques for the whole body, including Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofascial Release, and Joint Mobilizations, while also reviewing content from the prerequisite courses to help shape mindset about finding and treating dysfunction. The fourth and final day of Synthesis is a comprehensive examination, including written, oral, and lab practical sections. Synthesis is a high-level manual therapy certification course open to Physical Therapists only. Upon successful completion of the prerequisite courses and Synthesis, itself, therapists will be awarded the CIMT title. The prerequisite courses and the fourth day of Synthesis (testing) are not included in this request for CEU approval.
