Course Description:

This course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the essential knowledge and skills required for the initial fitting of prosthetic devices for patients experiencing limb loss. With continuous advancements in prosthetic technology, it is essential for clinicians to deliver personalized solutions that enhance both mobility and quality of life for patients. Participants of this presentation will be able to discuss preparatory prosthesis and describe socket definitions, interfaces, and suspension methods. Reasons for socket changes and bench and dynamic alignment will also be presented.
