Course Description:

This course provides an in-depth exploration of microprocessor prosthetic knees. Participants of this presentation will gain an understanding of the evaluation process to determine if a patient is a candidate for a microprocessor prosthetic knee. They will be able to explain of the various activity levels, the indication for prosthetic use and the contraindications that may hinder successful outcomes. Participants will also be able to discuss transfemoral gait and the objectives of prosthetic knees and explain MPK technology, highlighting their unique features and functionality.
