Course Description:
Dry Needling for Pelvic Health is a single day course designed specifically for clinicians who have already completed introductory training in dry needling and want to take their clinical application to the next level in more complex regions of the body including the pelvic floor, hip, lumbar spine, deep hip and pelvis and trunk. This course provides instruction in anatomy, neurophysiology, safe needle handling, and technical factors to develop safe and effective dry needling skill. With additional emphasis on clinical reasoning, pelvic health/dysfunction and use of electrical stimulation with dry needling learners will have a contemporary and targeted approach for to provide most effective dry needling for patients with pelvic health dysfunction. Dry Needling for Pelvic Health is a hybrid course with online lecture component to supplement the in-person lecture and lab-based instruction.
