Course Description:
The 2nd Annual Physical Therapy Clinician Appreciation Seminar, hosted by the Wayne County Community College District Physical Therapist Assistant Program, is a full-day professional development event designed to enrich the knowledge, clinical reasoning, and practical skills of physical therapy practitioners. The seminar features six expert-led presentations that address emerging and evidence-based topics directly relevant to the profession, including post-COVID rehabilitation strategies, vestibular rehabilitation, strength and conditioning integration, prosthetic management, outcome improvement, and professional mentoring.
Each presentation aligns with current trends in physical therapy practice and emphasizes the application of clinical principles to enhance patient outcomes across a variety of settings. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of assessment and treatment approaches for complex conditions, refine intervention strategies, and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration. The event promotes lifelong learning and professional growth in alignment with APTA’s mission to advance the profession and optimize movement to improve the human experience.
