Course Description:
This is a course for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants to gain proficiency at the essentials of understanding, assessing, and implementing the identification of unique clinical considerations of the aging adult. Areas of focus will include the neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, Osteoporosis, Menopause and other age-related topics. There will also be a strong emphasis on fall risk assessment and treatment, and strategies to address lifestyle management, anti-inflammatory lifestyle habits and loneliness.
