Course Description:

Whether you are looking for a review of the basics or want to fine tune your current skills, this is the course for you! This one day course will cover the fundamentals required for examination and treatment of the cervicothoracic spine. It will include the most current evidence for screening, taking a subjective exam, performing an objective exam, choosing safe and effective treatment, and prescribing a home exercise program. The course will cover topics related to subgrouping patients with neck pain, headaches, radiating arm pain, poor motor coordination and whiplash related disorders with a review of evaluation and evidence based intervention strategies to address these specific subgroups. Modifications will be provided for examination and treatment for application across various clinical settings and allowing therapists to alter their techniques based on the patient’s needs.
