Course Description:
This course provides an in-depth review of the structure and function of the cardiovascular system. It covers essential topics such as the cardiac cycle, oxygen transport, and the regulatory mechanisms of blood pressure and circulation. Designed specifically for physical and occupational therapy professionals, it highlights the physiological adaptations of the cardiovascular system during physical activity, offering foundational knowledge critical for understanding how cardiovascular function impacts rehabilitation practices. This course does not cover cardiovascular disease.
