Course Description:

This course is designed to improve the athletic trainer and physical therapist’s care of athletes through improved understanding of athletic movement, sports biomechanics, performance testing and training. The course will be a blend of current evidence-based practice (research) and clinical experience. This course will include a significant amount of lab time dedicated to practicing and analyzing athletic and sport specific movement. This course will also include video case studies of athletes to demonstrate concepts.
