Course Description:

Spasticity is a common and often disabling consequence of stroke, affecting up to one-third of survivors and significantly impacting mobility, independence, and quality of life. This evidence-based continuing education course provides occupational therapists and physical therapists with an in-depth understanding of post-stroke spasticity and practical strategies for managing complex clinical presentations.
Participants will review the basics principles of spasticity and current medical management and examine the latest research on best-practice therapy interventions.
